India Under-19 cricket team reaches 5th time in World Cup.


For a fifth time India reaches in ICC Under-19 World Cup final  by defeating Sri Lanka in the semi final.

India did well to reach 267/9.The batting star Anmolpreet Singh 72 runs of 92 balls and  Sarfaraz Khan 59 runs of 71 balls, who amassed his fourth fifty plus scores in five innings in the tournament.

Batting was not easy but Anmolpreet Singh and Sarfaraz Khan both contributed 96 runs off 126  balls for the third wicket.

The three time champions awaits either West Indies or hosts Bangladesh in the final to be played on February 14.

Great achievement maded by Arunima Sinha.



Arunima Sinha, the amputee mountaineer who set a record by climbing the Mount Everest, recently she had conquered Mount Aconcagua in Argentina.

Arunima, in a statement, said she started her mission on the morning of December 12 and hoisted the Indian tricolour on December 25.

Aconcagua is the highest mountain outside Asia, at 6,960.8 metres, and by extension, the highest point in both the Western Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere.

"I have successfully completed the 5th summit of the Mission 7 Summits. I have climbed Mt. Aconcagua in Argentina, South America. This is also known as second Everest. After completing this I have also made World record as First Female amputee to climb 5 Mountains of the World. I will also summit rest 2 mountains and complete the goal of Mission 7 Summits," she said.

 Who is Arunima Sinha?

Arunima Sinha was born in India at Ambedkar Nagar in the year 1988. She  is the first female amputee to climb Mount Everest. She is also the first Indian amputee to climb Mount Everest.

Her aim was to climb all the continents' highest peaks and put the national flag of India. She has already done four peaks.
1. Everest in Asia, 2. Kilimanjaroin Africa, 3. Elbrus in Europe, and 4.Kosizko, Australia, as the world's four highest peaks.

She was a national level volleyball player who was pushed from a running train by thieves in 2011 while she was resisting them. Due to this incident, one of her legs had to be amputated below the knee.

She surprised the world by climbing Mt. Everest on May 21, 2013. She was awarded the Padamshree for her achievement.
