North-South Transport Corridor(NSTC) Trade Route Between India and Russia.




The aim of the NSTC is to increase trade connectivity between major cities such as   Mumbai, Tehran, Bandar Anzali, Austrakhan, Moscow and etc.The length of this route is 5,600km from North end to South end.The international North-South Transport Corridor is the ship, rail and road route for moving freight from India, Iran, Azerbaijan and Russia via ship,rail and road.
A study conducted by the Federation of Freight Forwarders Association in India found the route is "30% cheaper and 40% shorter" than the current traditional route.The objective of the NSTC project is to reduce cost in terms of time and money over the traditional route currently being used.
