Have a look on 400 million old Batu cave

The Batu cave is situated13 kilometers north of Kuala Lumper in Malaysia,Batu Caves is a limestone hill that has a series of caves.The caves are named after the Sungai Batu or Batu River,which flows past the hill.

Its uniqueness.
Its is made up of limestones,this cave is around 400 million years old,is one of the most popular Hindu shrine outside India dedicated to Lord Murugan. It is the focal point of Hindu festival of Thaipusam in Malaysia.

Speciality of Murugan statue.
The statue is 42.7 meter high, it is made of 1550 cubic metres of concrete, 250 tonnes of steel bars and 300 litres of gold paint brought in from neighbouring country Thailand.
The overall cost of statue is approximately 24 million rupees,which is world's tallest  Murugan statue.

The Ramayana Caves.
The Ramayana caves is also situated near to the Batu caves, there is a 15 m (50 ft) tall statue of  Lord Hanuman and a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, devotee and aide of Lord Rama.
